Enoshima is a small island, about 4 km in perimeter, at the mouth of the Katase River in Sagami Bay, linked by a 600-meter bridge. There are beaches and fireworks are held during the summer. Many young people visit this area in summer and rejoice.
Benzaiten, the goddess of music, has a shrine on the island, which is dedicated to her, since legend has it that Enoshima emerged from the waters by Benzaiten in the 6th century.
This island is very famous among young people, especially in Summer, many boys come from Tokyo to swim, have a drink and eat.
